Subject: Ennix Bio-Services Collection System Pilot Program Proposal
Dear Rob.
Thank you for your consideration of the 100% natural Ennix Bio-Services This proposal offers a
performance guaranteed 60-day turnkey pilot program. The pilot program will demonstrate Ennix
ability to economically reduce and control noxious odors, hydrogen sulfide and FO&G in your collection
system without the use of degreasers and odor control chemicals.
Significant benefits will also accrue in the following areas:
• Improved personnel safety and elimination of citizen odor complaints;
• Reduced system and/or equipment replacement costs due to hydrogen sulfide corrosion;
• Reduced operation and maintenance costs;
• Odor, HHS and grease control in downstream lines and lift stations.
As you can see, we have reduced the proposed monthly service fee from $2,850 to $2,350 due to
increased efficiency After the conclusion of the pilot program, the Ennix Bio-Services"' may be
continued by extending the terms and conditions of the Pilot Program Proposal on a month-to-month basis
or by entering into a longer-term service agreement. Services can be expanded to treat additional areas
and pollutants. Program cost is generally more than paid for by reducing or eliminating current or
anticipated expenses for chemicals and feed equipment, system equipment replacement or upgrades and
system maintenance.
Pilot Program Plan
Ennix Bio-Feeders will be installed upstream at two manholes to feed our dry aerobic and facultative
bacteria, target enzymes and mineral complexes directly into the sewer lines. Flow volumes, pollutant
load and conditions within the system determine the feed rates. Once the biological product is in the
system, control of odors and hydrogen sulfide is based upon changing the ecosystem within gravity sewer
lines, lift stations and force mains by reducing old sludge and grease deposits. Old anaerobic slime layers
are removed and replaced by a beneficial digestive bio-film within the piping and wet wells. Depending
upon conditions in the system, hydrogen sulfide reduction can take place is as little as two to three weeks
or as much as six to eight weeks if there is a significant amount of old deposits. It some cases, it is
beneficial to draw down the lift station and note the amount of debris, grease and sludge accumulation. If
there are large amounts of old sludge and debris, it may be worthwhile to remove as much as possible
prior to beginning Bio-Services. Odor control can then take place rapidly In any case, once the proper

conditions are established, economical odor control is ongoing and the newly established bio-digestive
process will keep the collection system and lift stations clean and odor free.
Ennix will provide, maintain and fill all feeding equipment, supply all necessary biological products and
provide service technicians necessary to accomplish program goals. Monthly reports will also be
submitted in which program results will be measured. Prior to program start up, we will submit a
`Service Policy' in which performance criteria will be specified.
All Ennix formulas comply with TSCA and use only ATCC Class I organisms that are naturally
occurring, non-mutagenic, non-opportunistic and non-pathogenic and will not harm personnel, plant
equipment or plant processes.
We appreciate this opportunity to be of service and to support your system operations and maintenance
goals.
Very truly yours,
