Z ORDINANCE NO. 10
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 6,. RELATING TO RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR CONNECTION TO DISTRICT'S
CIVIC FACILITIES, AND PROVIDING FOR AN

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the Sanitary

within the District have tied their sewer laterals directly into
the lines of Sanitation District No. 7; that the obligation for
replacement of sewer facilities, installed and owned by Sanitation
District No. 7 is not the obligation of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District; that Ordinance No. 6 and the amendments thereto have
limited the expenditure of funds collected, pursuant to said
Ordinance, exclusively to facilities „replacements; that inasmuch
as the Costa Mesa Sanitary District has no obligation to replace
Sanitation District No. 7 facilities, said charge imposed by
Ordinance 6 are inequitable and would be unfairly charged against
any developer or person connecting lateral directly Sanitation
District No. 7 lines.
