The meeting was called to order at 7s3O p.m. by President Iblyers.
14inutes Upon motion of Director Hollister,4 seconded by Director Norman, and
unanimously carried the minutes of August 16 were approved as mailed.
Written A letter was read from Jack J. and Roberta J, Rogers,, 13631 S. College
Com=ications requesting ann�x �a.tion to the Sanitary District. A letter was also read
from L. G. V06 requesting annexation to the Sanitary District, These
two-People requesting annexation are in the same area, The board asked
the Engineer if the sewers were available in this area. Engineer South -
M c U- r worth stated the sewers ran in front of these two properties. After
Rogers further discussion it was moved by Director Hollister,, seconded by Direc-
Annexation for Nelson,, and unanimously carried that ppon receipt of the fee of X10,00
per acre or a minim=-of '%'P100,00 that the Eieineer and Attorney be in-
structed to take the necessary steps to start the annexation of the parcels
interested,
Mr. and Ws. Rogers were present at the meeting and inquired whether they
had to wait until the annexation sass final before they could hook into
the sewers, After further fscussion it vas moved by Director Nelson➢
seconded by Director Norman,, and unanimously carried that pending the
annexation of Ifr. and Mrs. Rogers parcel into the Sanitary District they
be allowed to deposit the sum of 015O to connect to the sewer line, the
deposit to be refunded upon completton of the annexation. In the event
that the annexation its not completed it will be on the rental agreement
basis of 050.00 per year or fraction thereof,
California Tax
A letter was read from the California Tax Agency requesting information

as to whether or not Annexations 2l and 22 under 1911 action had Den
recorded, The engineer informed the board tbat this has not yet been;
recorded, Upon motion of Director Porter, secondea by alrector Hollis®
ter, and unanimously carried the letter was ordered received and filed.
House Count
A letter Baas read from Kenneth Price for an addition $ S7 units to the
trgsh and garbage pick up. Upon motion of Director Norman, seconded by
Director Hollister, and unanimously carried that the 57 units be added
making a total of 7,412 as of September It 1956,
Bond for Trash &
Mr. Price inquired of the board whether or not it would be possible for
Garbage Collector
him to post a bond for performance rather than the procedure of receiving
payment a month behind® After discussion it was moveW1 by Director Nelson,,
seconded by Director Norman, and unanimously carried that the attorney be
instructed to draw up an amendment to the contract specifying that the
collector., Mr. ge, -neth Price, be permitted to provide a performance bond,
that the premium would not cost in access of $50 per year, in lieu of

Fiscal Officer Hartzler. Upon motion
of Director Norman, seconded by
Director Porter and unanimously carried the report was accepted and
ordered filed.
Mrs. Otto Bayer
Director Nelson stated that Mrs. Otto
Bayer has asked him to find out

when it would be possible for her to connect to the sewer. Engineer
Southworth stated that the sewer runs
in the street in front of her
property, She could hook up at any time, however it would probably
be necessary for her to secure an easement across the front property
to run to the public street._
