The meeting was called to order by President Meyers at 700 p.m,

The President announced that this was the time and place fixed for the open â

ing of bids for the installation of sanitary sewers and appurtenant work in
Annexation No. 27 to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, Orange County, Cali..
fornia., as described in Resolution of Intention No, 15,
The Secretary announced that he had received sixteen bids. Whereupon, all
bids were publicly opened, examined and declared, from the following bidderss

On motion of Director Norman, seconded by Director Hollister, and unanimously

carried, the bids were referred to the Engineer for checking and report back
to this Board as to the lowest r egular responsible bid.
The board discussed the progress of the plans and specifications for Annexa-
tion 13, 15, and 17.
Resolution 18
The Engineer returned to the Board and reported that he had checked all of
the bids received and further reported that the bid of Charles J. Dorfman
was the lowest regular responsible bid received and recommended that this
Board award the contract to said low bidder. On motion of Director Hollister,
seconded by Director Norman, Resolution No. 18 being a resolution awarding
the contract for the installation of sanitary sewers and appurtenant work in
Annexation No. 27 to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, Orange County, Cali-
fornia, to Charles J. Dorfman, at the price ($157,660.75) named in his bid,
was adopted by the following roll can votes
AYESs Directors Meyers, Hollisteri and Norman
NOESs None
ABSENTS Directors Nelson and Porter
On the motion of Director Norman, seconded by Director Hollister, and unani-
mously carried the meeting was adjourned at 9s30 p.m.
