A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING BILL ANDERSON, STREET
SUPERINTENDENT, CITY OF COSTA MESA.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUN'T'Y,
CALIFORNIA, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District by agreement contracts with the
City of Costa Mesa for the District's daily operation; and
WHEREAS, the City has designated the Street Superintendent as the responsible
person to supervise and oversee the District's daily field operations; and
WHEREAS, Bill Anderson, also known as "Andy" and to those who have lived as
long or longer, known as "Wello ", is the City's Street Superintendent; and
and
WHEREAS, Bill Anderson has been with the City of Costa Mesa since June 1957;
WHEREAS, Bill- Andy -Weelo has been Street Superintendent since April 1972; and
WHEREAS, Bill Anderson has contributed a great deal of time, effort and
enthusiasm toward improvement of the community, the City and the Sanitary District;
and
WHEREAS, Bill Anderson's commitment to serving the best interests of the
community has resulted in high quality services to the public at reasonable cost to
taxpayers of the City and District; and
WHEREAS, Bill Anderson had decided to retire from his position as Street
Superintendent after twenty -six years and at the ripe old age of 59; and
WHEREAS, the character, friendliness, warmth and honesty of Bill Anderson
will be missed greatly by the Board and Staff of the District;
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District expresses appreciation to Bill Anderson for service to the District;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Anderson is hereby notified that as a retired
and private citizen he will be required to maintain his sewer lateral from his house
to the main line in the street;
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that an original of this Resolution be made a part of
the perpetual records of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.

I, Florine T. Reichle, Assistant Secretary of the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District of Orange County, California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, that
the foregoing Resolution, being Resolution No. 83 -389, was duly passed, approved and
adopted by said Board, approved and signed by the President of said Board, and attested
by the Secretary of said Board, all at a Regular Meeting of the Board held on the
10th day of March, 1983, and that the same was passed and adopted by the said Costa
Mesa Sanitary District.
