DEFINING SAID EASEMENT FURTHER AS A ONE FOOT EASEMENT ALONG THE WESTERLY
PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 5, BLOCK 1 OF THE TOWNSITE OF FAIRVIEY,FRO4 MR.
STECKLEY'S NORTHWEST CORNER TO ELM STREET, FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF A
SEWER LINE, IT BEING EXPRESSLY UNDERSTOOD THAT THE GRANTING OF THIS
EASEMENT WOULD BE VALID ONLY IF LEMON STREET WERE ABANDONED.
DUE TO THE FACT THAT LOT 5 IS IN ESCROW AND REQUIRES COURT PROCEDURE FOR
CLEARANCE OF TITLE, FURTHER THAT THE SELLER'S ATTORNEY ADVISED CLEARANCE
SHOULD BE OBTAINED AND ESCROW CLOSED OCT. I, 1962, AN ALTERNATE ROUTE
IS SUGGESTED COMMENCING AT MR. STECKLEY'S SOUTHEAST CORNER AND PROCEEDING
EASTERLY ON ADAMS, THEN DOWN THE WESTERLY PROPERTY LINE OF ABANDONED LEMON
STREET, THIS ALTERNATE ROUTE BEING USED ONLY IF TITLE COULD NOT BE
ACQUIRED TO LOT 5.

I hereby consent to grant to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District a 10 -foot
construction easement for the installation of a sewer line, the center line
of said 10 feet to be the lot line between Lots 4 and 5 of Block "I ",
Fairview Tract, and a permanent easement of 3 feet along the westerly property
line of Lot 5 of Fairview Tract; said line to serve Lot, 10 of Fairview Tract.
