in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, shown
as "Residual Parcel" on Parcel Map No. 79 -379 filed in book 135 pages 26
and 27 of parcel maps records of said County said easement being a strip
of land ten feet in width, five feet on each side of the following described
centerline:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Parcel 1 as shown on Parcel Map 84 -390
filed in book 200 pages 34 and 35 of parcel map records of said County, said
corner being on the centerline of Pinecreek Drive 60.00 feet wide; thence
from said point of beginning and along the southerly line of said Parcel
N 89° 59' 32" W 322.61 feet the True Point of Beginning of the easement
centerline being described; said point also being a point on a curve, concave
northeasterly and having a radius of 160.00 feet; thence leaving said southerly
line and southeasterly along said curve, through a central angle of 15° 26' 16 ",
an arc distance of 43.11 feet more or Tess to the centerline of an existing
18" sewer line and the terminus of the easement being described. '
All as more particularly shown on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof.

MINUTES OF THE JULY 23, 1986, MEETING, BOARD OF TRUSTEES, COAST COMMU-
NITY COLLEGE DISTRICT:
POLICY IMPLEMENTATION NO. 4.20
Approval of Modification of Easement to Costa Mesa Sanitary District
On May 22, 1986, the Board held a public hearing with respect to a proposed grant of a sewer
easement of approximately 41 feet in length to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District. The easement
was for a sewer hook -up for the apartment complex being built to the rear of the District's
headquarters buildings. The easement description was provided by the architects for the
apartment complex. At the conclusion of that hearing, the Board granted the easement and
right -of -way to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
As it turns out, an obstruction at the location of the easement (a power pole) prevents the
laying of the sewer line. The Sanitary District and apartment developers have therefore
requested that the easement granted by the District be moved a few feet to the west. The
District has no objection to this request.
The Resolution and documents below would extinguish the previously granted easement and
grant a new easement and right -of -way for a sewer line approximately 10 feet to the west of
the previously granted easement. It was moved by Ms. Pollard and seconded by Mr. Nordquist
that the following resolution be adopted:
RESOLUTION OF GRANT OF EASEMENT
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Education Code Sections 81310- 81314, the Board of
Trustees of the Coast Community College District hereby declares that it is in the best
interests of the District and that it is its intent to grant to the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District an easement and right -of -way for the purpose of installation and construction
of a sewer line, which easement and right -of -way is set forth on the following
described real property located on the District's headquarter's site in the City of Costa
Mesa, County of Orange, State of California:

RESOLVED FURTHER that, in consideration of the District's granting of said
easement, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District shall at its own cost and expense construct
an underground sewer line and appurtenances thereto on said easement and shall
maintain the same all at the cost and expense of said Sanitary District, and shall save
and hold Coast Community College District harmless from any damages arising from
the granting and use of said easement;
RESOLVED FURTHER that, in consideration of the District's granting of said
easement, the grant of said easement shall be expressly conditioned upon the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District quitclaiming back to the District that certain easement and
right -of -way granted to it by the District on May 22, 1986; and
RESOLVED FURTHER that, the President of the Board be and hereby is authorized
and directed to execute a deed dedicating an easement for sewer connection purposes
over, under and across that certain real property particularly described in this
Resolution of Grant of Easement to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, a public entity.
RESOLVED FURTHER that, the Chancellor be and hereby is authorized and directed
to do or cause to be done any and all such further acts and things, and to execute and
deliver any and all documents, papers and instruments, as either of them deem
necessary or desirable in order to carry into effect the purposes and intent of the
foregoing Resolution.
Motion carried with the following vote: Aye - Mrs. Baum, Mr. Howald, Mr. Nordquist,
Mr. Ruiz, and Ms. Pollard (Nay - None; Absent - None).
