Upon general discussion, it was moved by Director Meyers seconded by
Director Nelson, that no Additional footage of sewer mains be. con -
structed henceforth, without same having been prgviously specifi-
cally authorized by Board action, and that the Distristt;s Engineer
and Project Manager be advised accordingly. Car ried.
The subject of future annexations of areas not now included in
the District, was mentioned, and several individual cases, such
as the new elementary school district at Meyer and Hamilton streets,
Narmco, Inc.,. Middleton, Lot 40 FVF, Messrs George and Faulquist,
in vicinity of 20th to 22nd, Tustin to Irvine, area in vicinity of
Southern California Bible College, North of Victoria etc., discussed
briefly, the views of the Board appearing that at this time little
if any progress has been made towards formulating financial and
other basic policy upon which annexations may be applied for. Matter
subject to further study.
A letter from lTarco Inc dated April 30th 1952 was read and upon
motion by Director Nelson seconded by Director Lord, Engineer Bulot was
directed to make such investigation and survey necessary to determine
conditions under which the area involved could be served through
facilities of existing District.
Letter from National Life & Accident Insurance Co., relative to
proposed "Safeway Stores" Easement was read. Necessary await further
advice from interested sources.
Matter of Easement for Sanitation District No 6 line, through
properties of Butler, Collins and Betlach, reported on by Secretary
and present status relative to obtaining signatures of all parties
in interest reviewed, together with Betlach's demand for payment of
the sum of $500 00 as compensation for such easement through his property,
and regzirement of original owner Mrs Georgia Curtis' signature, and
necessity of services of third party to contact Mrs Curtis due to
health conditions, fully reviewed, and Secretary tentatively instructed
to proceed alt.ong such lines in an effort to ascertain willingness of
Mrs Curtis to join in granting easement in question, and report back
for Board's further consideration.
