Minutes of Regular Meeting of Board of Directors
of Costa Mesa Sanitary District held at 2057 (Rear)
Newport Avenue, September 7th 1950.
Present: Directors Telolinkle, Nelson, Lord and Norman.
Attorney Anderson, Engineer Bulot and Secretary Owen
Absent: Director Dodd
Also present: Arthur H Meyers
Minutes of regular meeting of August 3rd read and approved.
Minutes of Board of Eqi alization meeting August 3rd read and
approved.
Minutes of Adjourned Meeting August 3rd held August 22nd, for the
purpose of canvassing bond election returns, read and approved.
The following bills were read and upon motion by Nelson, seconded
by Norman, ordered paid.

Secretary explained military status of Jas S Johnson and possible
effect on garbage collection contract; that he is now deferred to
November 1st, 1950, and that if desired and agreeable to the Board
arrangement can probably be made with Price Ranch people to take
over his contract. Await developments.
Election of three directors September 18th mentioned.
Engineer Bulot filed and explained detailed progress report under
Application 4 -P -1016, and also commented on various items of pro-
cedure with respect to sale of bonds and construction bids.
Moved by Nelson seconded by Norman that Engineer Bulot be directed
to complete final plans and specifications preparatory to advertising
for bids about December lst 1950 for the construction of the entire sew.

Moved by Lord seconded by Norman that O1Melveny & Myers, Bond
Attorneys, be notified that it is the purpose of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District to let construction contracts about January lst
1951 covering the construction of entire sewer system as provided
for in BOND PROPOSITION authorized at election held August 15th
1950.
It was understood and agreed that District bonds authorized by
election August 15th 1950 would be sold in whole or in part
4— n for advertising such sale
about January lst 195T, and that prepara to
would be made accordingly.
Engineer Bulot and Mr Nelson discussed design of No 6 District
interceptor lines as related to District project with a view to
both projects running concurrently in construction period.
