Meeting called to order at 7:30 P M by President TeWinkle
The following bills read and upon motion by Lord seconded by Norman,

Moved by Norman, seconded by Nelson that 1950 -51 Budget be prepared
by Secretary in the aggregate sum not to exceed $17 500"00 and sub-
mitted to County Auditor. Carried.
Moved by Nelson seconded by Norman that Secretary be directed to
place order with Duane W Wheeler & Company, Los Angeles, for bond
election supplies, and also provide them with county voting lists
revised to fit District, for use as mailing lists for polling place
cards and sample ballots. Carried.
Secretary reviewed county valuations and discussed spread of District
valuations for purpose of tax levy.
Engineer Bulot reported on progress of Plan Preparation, and it was
agreed that the map being being prepared by him for informational
purposes in connection with bond election bear names of Directors and
officers of District.

Letter dated June 29th from ottlelveny & Myersp Bond Attorneys# was
read, whereupon, it was moved by Norman, seconded by Nelson*, that
the firm of 01TAelveny & Myers be employed in connection with the
authorization and sale of $850 000 bonds of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
Distridt* upon the following terms and conditions,, to wit:
That the services to be performed under such employment include
drafting of all necessary documents-0,.giving instructions examining
the proceedingt,step by step And issuance of approving opinion
to the purchaser of said bonds. That the fee shall be $2200 00
payable one-half following canvass of election.returns and the other
one�half upon the sale of said bonds or a substlh*"al portion thereof.
Should the bond proposition fail to carry at said election then the
fee to be $900 00 payable following the canvasa of the election
returns. In addition to these fees.O'Molveny & Myers are to be
reimbumsed, for out-of-pocket expenses. account long distance
teleph&ep telegraph and similar charges incurred in connection
with such emplOYMent. Motion carried.
