Staff is requesting your approval to transfer a total budget amount of $38,700. The following is a breakdown of the transfers. Staff is requesting the budget of $7,500 remaining in the Telephone Book Recycling Program be transferred to fund the Battery Recycling Program. Additionally, Staff is requesting that the newsletter postage budget of $31,200 be transferred to the Public Info/Education/Community Promotion budget where the quarterly newsletter is paid. The newsletter ’s postage is included in the cost of creating the newsletter and is invoiced by the vendor who creates the newsletter.
